Do you or someone you know need a living-wage job?

We’re always told that only corporations or wealthy people “create jobs.” But the truth is, jobs can be created when working people come together and pool small amounts to meet the needs of our communities. That’s why FEN-PAC has launched our effort to hire 500 paid Relational Organizers across New Jersey.

These will be remote, part-time positions paying $4,000/month to help communities connect, mobilize their personal networks, and build the power we need to pass a Job Guarantee in New Jersey.

Your donation of $25, or whatever you can give, directly helps us fund these 500 paid positions. Every contribution brings us one step closer to creating living-wage jobs right now and building a movement strong enough to win a Job Guarantee for all.

If you’re able to give $25 and share this page with a few people you know, you help start a ripple effect—friends reaching friends, neighbors helping neighbors. With enough people stepping up together, we can reach our goal of hiring 500 paid Relational Organizers.

As positions are funded, donors will be the first to be notified when each Relational Organizer job becomes available, including how to apply.

What Does a “Relational Organizer” Do, and Why It Matters?

People are far more likely to take action when the message comes from someone they know and trust. That’s the power of relational organizing — and it’s exactly what your donation helps make possible.

Your donation will fund Relational Organizers who will reach out to their own friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors through text, social media, phone calls, or in-person conversations. They’ll share information about a Job Guarantee and invite people to take action and get involved.

Most importantly, they’ll have real, honest conversations about why a Job Guarantee matters, and how working people can use our collective power to win it.

All Are Welcome to Apply!

Whether you’ve never done political work before or you’re a seasoned political organizer, there’s a place for you in this movement!

Donors will be the first to be notified as each paid Relational Organizer job becomes available, along with instructions on how to apply.

What happens after we hire 500 Relational Organizers?

Even after reaching our goal of hiring 500 paid Relational Organizers, building a Job Guarantee movement will require many additional roles. These include positions in field organizing, digital communications, administrative operations, data management, research, and more. FEN-PAC will continue raising funds to create the jobs needed to build a strong, effective, and lasting movement for a Job Guarantee.

What is a JG

What is a Job Guarantee?

A Job Guarantee is a public program that creates living-wage jobs for people who cannot find full-time work. These jobs would focus on fixing our communities, caring for people in need, supporting schools, and other public services that benefit everyone.

By reducing the fear of unemployment, a Job Guarantee would also strengthen the bargaining power of all working people, helping them earn better pay, work in safer conditions, and receive fair treatment on the job.
